After graduating from my medical studies at the "Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität" in Münster, North-Rhine-Westphalia, I specialized in psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy in Cologne. I was trained as a psychoanalyst at the "Psychoanalytische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Köln-Düsseldorf e.V" in Cologne, a training institute of the German Psychoanalytic Association(GPA), a branch of the International Psychoanalytic Association(IPA), and worked there as a training analyst and supervisor until 2017. Today, I am a psychoanalyst in free practice.

Studies in the USA, England and South Africa as well as participation in various projects concerned with trauma research and neuropsychoanalysis added to my knowledge of neuropsychological concepts and deepened my understanding of the development of psychic disorders.
